Introducing the head chef

Pascal Angenard has been passionate about cooking since his childhood, spent among his grandmother's saucepans and later in his father's bakehouse. He proved himself at Le Coq Hardi in Bougival before setting up in Deauville in 1989. There he earned a Michelin star. A disciple of Escoffier, this well-rounded chef will seduce your tastebuds from the starter to the dessert.

Since his arrival in Caen in March 2009, he has already obtained two Michelin forks, a Bib Gourmand in 2011, and in 2012 he was awarded the title of master restauranteur.

What a sensational chef!

Pascal Angenard is a talented chef who rarely shows his face. The regulars are reassured, however, by the sight of him presiding over his kitchen, which is visible from the dining area. If you ask him about his work, he speaks with great humility about choosing the best produce, or the precise cooking that preserves the softness of a piece of meat or the pearlescence of a fish.
